The Rockies will take your breath. The silence may give it back.
A six-day, brotherhood-centered journey through Banff—built around real challenge, protected quiet, honest conversation, and the space to hear God clearly.
Not a race through the Rockies.
The first KAT Banff journey proved something important: the mountains open people up. It also showed us where the experience could become deeper. Banff 2027 is intentionally slower—one basecamp, fewer transitions, and meaningful blocks of time that are not rushed or over-programmed.
You will still earn the views. You will hike, paddle, enter cold water if you choose, and spend long days in dramatic country. But the goal is not to collect landmarks. The goal is to return more awake—to God, to your own life, and to the men beside you.
Six days. One deliberate rhythm.
This is the current 2027 experience design. Exact timing and route order may adjust for weather, park access, and group safety.
Arrive & Exhale
Arrive in Calgary, meet the group, organize gear, share the first meal, and begin with a clear orientation to the journey ahead.
Settle Into the Wild
Move into the Banff-area basecamp, establish the rhythm of camp, paddle together, and open the first honest conversations around brotherhood and presence.
Icefields & Stillness
Protected quiet at Bow Lake, an optional cold-water immersion, the Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier country, Peyto Lake, and a well-earned steak night back at camp.
The Long Mountain Day
An early start at Lake Louise, climbing toward Lake Agnes and Testimony Rocks before continuing into the Plain of Six Glaciers. Expect a demanding alpine day of up to roughly 18.5 km, conditions permitting.
Receive, Reflect & Serve
A slower morning for Lectio Divina, paddling, journaling, and integration before packing down camp and turning outward through a planned community-service opportunity in Calgary.
Carry It Home
Closing conversation, final commitments, airport departures, and a return home with more than a camera roll.
The final itinerary will be confirmed with official dates, reservations, seasonal conditions, and partner availability.

The destination is only the beginning.
Banff provides the scale. The KAT rhythm creates the depth. Every part of this journey is designed to engage the whole person—body, mind, spirit, and relationship.
This is what the journey feels like.

Built for this placeCome ready for the real thing.
This is a supported experience, not a passive tour. You do not need to be an elite athlete, but you do need the fitness, humility, and preparation to contribute to a small group in mountain conditions.
How difficult is the hiking?
The signature mountain day is planned as a demanding alpine route of up to roughly 18.5 km. Final distance depends on conditions and route decisions. Participants should arrive able to spend a full day hiking with elevation gain at a steady group pace.
Is the cold plunge required?
No. Cold-water immersion is strongly encouraged as an intentional challenge, but participation is voluntary and always subject to conditions and safety judgment.
Where will we stay?
The 2027 design centers on one Banff-area basecamp so the group can establish a genuine rhythm. The specific campground and final accommodation details will be released after reservations are confirmed.
What is the current price?
The current Banff 2027 trip price is $4,150 per guest. Exact dates, final inclusions, and booking details will be shared first with the Banff priority list.
What happens if weather changes the route?
Mountain conditions lead the decision-making. The order, distance, or location of an activity may change to protect the group while preserving the purpose and character of the experience.
