Roatán: The Depths & The Mission is a 9-day immersive dive adventure designed for men who want more than spectacular scuba diving. This faith-based expedition combines world-class underwater exploration with intentional community outreach — partnering with local Honduran ministries to serve the island's vibrant communities.
You'll spend your days beneath Caribbean waves, pressing into extraordinary marine life. Your evenings will be filled with fellowship, storytelling, and reflection on purpose, impact, and calling.

The Full Expedition

Touch down in Roatán and transfer directly to The Beach House on Half Moon Bay. Get settled, gear up, and gather around the table for your first fellowship dinner together — introductions, vision-casting, and the beginning of something extraordinary.

The core of the expedition. Each day follows the transformational rhythm — morning reflection, multiple guided dives, and evening fellowship. Alex leads intimate groups of max 6 divers per Divemaster, with fast boats reaching most sites in under 10 minutes.
- 2–3 guided dives daily through 40+ available sites
- Coral wall dives, drift dives & sand patch exploration
- Night dive experience (eagle rays, octopus, macro life)
- Surface intervals with hot showers & "fish talk" at the dive shop
- Optional: Specialty training & certification upgrades with Alex
- Evening fellowship, storytelling & communal debrief
We step out of the water and into the community. This day is the heart of The Mission — partnering with Roatan Marine Park and local ministry SOL Roatan for hands-on reef stewardship and community service.
- Lionfish hunting — licensed invasive species control dive (catch, clean & eat)
- Coral Ambassadors program — hands-on reef restoration training
- Community service: mentorship and connection with local families
- Evening reflection: "What Are We Leaving Behind?"
Weather permitting, this is the adventure dive of the trip — a long-range excursion to seamounts or the remote protected marine preserve of Cayos Cochinos, where pristine reef ecosystems and rare species await.

This isn't just a guided dive trip. Alex Lichtblau brings over a decade of ocean mastery, local community roots, and a heart for transformative travel experiences.
Originally certified in the Galápagos Islands in 2011, Alex is fluent in Spanish and deeply embedded in the Roatán community — ensuring a genuine experience from the best local food to the safest dives. Former guide in Hawaii and the Galápagos, PADI specialty certified in Night, Deep, Navigation, Nitrox and more.
Valet Dive Experience — Alex's "Inside Under" model means your team handles all logistics, gear, and setup. You show up and dive. Small group policy: max 6 divers per Divemaster. Fast, comfortable boats with most sites under 10 minutes away. Surface intervals with hot showers and fish talk at the shop.
The Beach House
Your sanctuary for 8 nights. A charming boutique hotel situated directly on Half Moon Bay, West End — steps from the water and directly next to the dive shop for zero transportation time.
