Harrison Vaughan
Adventure trained him to endure. Ministry taught him to listen. Leadership taught him to carry responsibility.
First and foremost, a follower of Jesus Christ.
Before the expeditions, the titles, or the miles traveled, Harrison’s life is anchored in following the way of Jesus.
Harrison Vaughan is the founder of Kingdom Adventure Tours, a lifelong adventurer, speaker, author, disciple-maker, spiritual advisor, and Missional Ambassador to Latin America with Good Soil Ministries. His work lives at the intersection of adventure, leadership, spiritual formation, and service.
Born outside Atlanta, Georgia, Harrison has lived in New Zealand, Costa Rica, Germany, and Denver, Colorado. Travel through nearly forty countries across six continents has given him more than a collection of destinations. It has taught him to enter unfamiliar environments with humility, respect local leadership, adapt when plans change, and recognize the image of God in people whose lives look very different from his own.
He does not see adventure as an escape from real life. He sees it as a place where distractions fall away, character becomes visible, and people become more open to what God may be saying.
Not thrill-seeking. A lifelong classroom in courage and dependence.
Adventure has repeatedly placed Harrison in situations where preparation matters, ego is exposed, and trust must become practical.
Over the course of his life, Harrison has served four years in firefighting and emergency medical services, spent more than three years as a recreational skydiver, become a lifelong scuba diver, pursued mountaineering and ultramarathon distances, ridden and raced motorcycles on and off road, trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, and worked in high-mountain backcountry forestry in New Zealand.
Those experiences do not make him immune to risk. They have taught him to respect it. He understands the value of preparation, honest communication, calm decision-making, physical stewardship, and knowing when to change the plan. He also understands what happens internally when someone is tired, uncertain, stretched, or outside his normal environment.
Emergency Service
Four years in firefighting and EMS shaped a steady, service-first response to pressure and responsibility.
Air & Ocean
Three-plus years of recreational skydiving and PADI Advanced Open Water and Nitrox training developed disciplined respect for technical environments.
Mountain & Endurance
Mountaineering, ultramarathons, and high-country forestry taught patience, resilience, pacing, and preparedness.
Motorcycle & Martial Arts
On- and off-road riding, racing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai continue to sharpen awareness, humility, and composure.
Technical Credentials
PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Nitrox training, together with FAA Part 107 certification, support responsible adventure and media operations.
Expedition Leadership
Harrison has hosted international and backcountry experiences while coordinating specialized local guides, vendors, and ministry partners.
He has led in the field, in business, and in the lives of other men.
Premium travel requires more than a compelling itinerary. It requires stewardship, judgment, clear expectations, and care for the people who entrusted you with their time.
Harrison has been a founding member of businesses across construction, business process outsourcing, and medical equipment. He has spent more than a decade in senior-level business development and client leadership, managing complex relationships, coordinating teams, solving problems, and carrying responsibility for significant outcomes. Today, as the Lord leads, he works with a limited number of strategy clients through his consulting firm.
That professional background shapes the way Kingdom Adventure Tours operates. Details matter. Communication matters. Local partners deserve respect. Guests deserve clarity. Excellence is not luxury for luxury’s sake; it is a form of stewardship.
“The goal is not merely to take someone somewhere impressive. The goal is to care for the whole person while creating space for something meaningful to happen.”
Harrison Vaughan
Prepared to facilitate. Humble enough to let the Holy Spirit lead.
Harrison’s spiritual leadership is rooted in years of discipleship, pastoral training, ministry practice, and service alongside trusted leaders.
For nearly ten years, Harrison has been deeply involved in men’s ministry: leading groups, helping host retreats, speaking at conferences, walking alongside men, and creating spaces for honest conversation and prayer. He brings more than five years of focused small-group facilitation experience across more than twenty-five weekend retreats, supported by pastoral training and formation in prayer ministry, spiritual facilitation, and spiritual direction.
Across retreat, ministry, coaching, trauma-informed facilitation, and relational-support settings, Harrison has worked with more than two hundred people. He has also ministered with pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders, and business leaders throughout the United States and in more than thirteen countries across Europe and Latin America. That experience has taught him not to force a moment, manufacture vulnerability, or treat spiritual transformation like a program. His role is to prepare the space, ask thoughtful questions, listen well, protect trust, and point people toward Jesus.
Adventure opens the door. Service reminds us why we entered.
Kingdom impact is never a tourism add-on. It must honor local leaders, meet real needs, and strengthen work that continues after the travelers return home.
Harrison serves as Missional Ambassador to Latin America with Good Soil Ministries and as an advisory board member of Busquemos a Dios Juntos. His work connects business leaders, churches, ministries, and public leaders with trusted local partners serving underserved and unreached communities.
That work has included food and Bible distribution, prayer ministry, leadership development, and long-term community care. On KAT experiences, guests may encounter communities and stories they would never reach through ordinary travel. The aim is not to make travelers feel heroic. It is to help them serve with humility, learn from local believers, and see how God is already at work.
Experience to guide the moment. Presence to care for the person inside it.
The strongest qualification is not any single title. It is the integration of field experience, leadership maturity, spiritual formation, and relational care.
Calm Under Pressure
Emergency service and technical adventure experience formed a sober, prepared approach to changing conditions.
Cross-Cultural Humility
Living abroad and traveling across six continents taught him to listen first and honor local expertise.
Pastoral Presence
Years of discipleship and spiritual facilitation prepared him to hold confidential, meaningful conversations without forcing outcomes.
Operational Stewardship
Business leadership informs clear communication, careful planning, partner coordination, and concierge-level guest care.
Shared Experience
Harrison participates in the challenge. He understands fatigue, fear, discomfort, and the growth that can follow them.
Service Before Spotlight
The goal is never to build the founder’s platform. It is to serve guests, strengthen partners, and make room for God to work.
- Before the trip: Harrison helps set expectations, understand each guest, and identify the physical, logistical, and spiritual needs that matter.
- During the trip: He protects the rhythm of the experience, watches group dynamics, facilitates meaningful conversation, and coordinates with specialized local guides.
- When plans change: He communicates directly, draws on local expertise, and prioritizes people over pride or a rigid itinerary.
- After the trip: He wants guests to return with more than photographs – with deeper brotherhood, greater clarity, and a next faithful step.
A calling a decade in the making.
In September 2025, Harrison recognized what he describes as the intersection of a decade of preparation. The worlds that had shaped him – adventure, business leadership, men’s ministry, spiritual formation, and international service – were not separate chapters. Together, they pointed toward Kingdom Adventure Tours.
With the encouragement of friends, advisors, mentors, and continued direction from the Lord, he began building a new kind of adventure travel ministry: premium, concierge-level experiences designed to stretch comfort zones, cultivate brotherhood, create space for spiritual depth, and serve alongside trusted communities.
The vision was never simply to put a Bible study inside a vacation. It was to take men outside their usual environments, where status and routine lose some of their grip, and invite them into challenge, beauty, honesty, service, and encounter with the Holy Spirit.
“The beauty of a Kingdom Adventure is that you never know which part the Lord will use to transform someone’s heart.”
Harrison Vaughan
Adventure creates the space. God does the transforming.
Sometimes transformation begins during a long day on a motorcycle. Sometimes it comes on a backcountry trail, in a hard conversation on a boat, on a golf course, beside a campfire, or while praying with someone in a community a guest never expected to visit.
KAT exists to create premium spaces for transformation through adventure, spiritual formation, and outreach – inviting people to encounter the Holy Spirit in ways that affect their hearts, families, businesses, ministries, and legacies.
The vision is to set the table for a growing community of adventurous men and leaders who return home more grounded in Christ, more connected to one another, and more prepared to lead with biblical courage and humility.
